I can''t tell you the answer to that because it won''t be ethical. That part that you want to remove is the copyright of the theme''s designer and it should be respected :)

You can''t remove it without his/her permission.

No it isn't the theme designers code is still there and I won't remove it, this is something he added to the footer and now I can't remove it. He was a mate of mine that helped out on the forum and now he doesn't.

He put together an old style that we no longer use it's nothing to do with the way the forum is today.
This is my footer

The red is what I want to remove not the designers code that is under it.

Ah, I see. In that case find and remove the following code from the footer template. It is right under the vb ''s copyright.

HTML Code:

<span style="font-size: 9px;"><a href="http://www.real-creative.couk" title="vB.Sponsors">Designed & Maintained by: Real-creative</a></span>
P.s. You might want to upgrade your forum to the latest version as well btw as there is a known security issue with the version that you are running, not to mention the numerous bug fixings.

I could see the code at your page source that there is there. Can you post here please the contents of your footer template?

Or enter the code I posted above at Search in Templates under Styles & Templates and it will show you the location where it is.
