How to remove the img tags for posting
 

I have search 100's of post for the answer unable to find.

I want to turn off the insert image ( img tag ) for posting, how do I do that?

The reason is to prevent members from linking to remote pictures with the size of 2,3 and sometimes 4 MB. Or is there a way to limit the size plus H & W?

I mean I denied to use img tag, than I run search in templates for 'insertimage.png' and delete the code for that image.

Is there is any easy way to just switch that off?

But for now may be this will help you. go to usergroups setings and tick can use IMG code as No

Then go to templates and run search for ' insertimage.png ' delete the tags < .... insertimage.png / >

Go to every usergroup and

Allow Image BB Code = No
