Display post date/time for theads on non VB pages

I'm using the coder here:

and it works great. In addition to the thread name and poster I would also like to display post data and time.
I also need to limit the length of the returned thead titles to a max length as too long messes with my formatting.

Any body know how to do those two things with that code?
