How Can I "HIDE/DISALLOWED" Certain FTP Directory Access?

Is there a way I can hide/disallowed people accessing a certain directory?

For example: I wanted to hide or disable access to my "BLOG" ftp page or directory so when people type in www.sample.com/BLOG .. it will NOT SHOW UP or even better.. redirect user back to the main site.

notice by using this command not even you can access any directory but the one you add in the /forums/..

oo ya add this code to ur .htaccess file in you public html
