Mod Idea - virtual trade show
 

There's a ton of niche sites that cater to specific hobbies/niches/etc. It would be very cool if someone came up with a Virtual Trade Show mod... There are aquarium sites, motorcycle sites, antique sites, etc, etc, etc

idea is that a virtual trade show could be organized, much like a normal trade shows are organized. Vendors buy table/booth space and they input their inventory. If the admin creates a lot of buzz in a busy community vendors will quickly sign up and enter their products...members then browse each vendor's virtual booths where they can see products for sale and promotional materials (ie. pdf, links, etc).

This would be a great way to create a site wide sale involving the whole community. Larger communities could sell a hundred or more tables...the event would be awesome! It would be great for all parties invovled!

I may consider listing this as a paid custom mod if no one is interested in developing this. I do trade shows all the time and will gladly act as a consultant in development of this mod.
