Disable LINK Posting for New Users? v3.8

I've been researching this for v3.8

Is there a simple mod to disable LINK POSTING in threads/replies for new users under let's say 10 post counts etc..?

Also we're on VBSEO, is there feature for this or mod for it in vbseo?

We setup a new usergroup and use forum promotion to handle this
no additional mod is needed

I don''t think you can disable posting of links only in posts by default in vb.

You may be right, we also use the advanced permissions mod by Cyb, so in combination of that mod and forum permissions, users can't post links till they hit 10 post and have been on our forum 1 week.
I've also disabled several other options for the "new members" like access to the groups, blogs and a few other restrictions.

There is an old mod on 3.6 called Monkeystop which is perfect and works fine on 3.8.5.

If users with less than 10 posts post a link it goes into the moderation queue for review. This has caught loads of spammers as they all try it on in their first post. It also allows us to moderate these links, some are genuine and useful and it stops these users from being frustrated.

This feature should be a default option in VB, I really couldn't live without it.
