How to display partial thread desciption with the thread title
 

I can't be the only person who would find it useful - or needed - to show part of the thread description under the thread starter when viewing the list of threads in a forum.

There was a 3.x mod I came across that displayed one line from the thread description directly under the thread starter, but I'm loading news articles from an RSS feed into a forum and need to show...let's say the first paragraph under the thread starter.

Anybody working on such a thing?

It is shown when you hoover over the thread title, or is this not what you mean?

Nope, not the tooltip. I'm talking about on the forumdisplay page...showing a portion of the thread description under the thread starter.

There is a product called Extra Threadfields at http://www.provb.org/showthread.php?&t=3829
which I'm looking into.

As it is already available for the tooltip, i guess you could do this with a simple template edit.
