vBulletin 4 Sliding Like Sidebar

vBulletin 4 Sliding Like Sidebar For vB 3.7.x-3.8.x - v2.12.1 keeps crashing my forum!!!!

I install this GREAT product, it truly is very nice... then when I input any html code into the display boxes to be shown to the public (such as additional page links), it developes a page error. I have tried straight text, html and just one letter (L) like that. No matter what you put in it, you get a page error on page load.

Then................ After a while of using, the thing crashes my entire forum and just as soon as I turn the funtion OFF, then the forum works great with no page errors. Then I turn it on... KABAM, crashes again... I get a database error and no page load.

Does anyone have another idea for me to be able to display a side bar with site stats and links to other pages in my site?

I am using version VB 3.8.6 (I don't like version 4)

Maybe that is why it is in the 'graveyard'?

Sorry, I am new... what do you mean the "Grave Yard"? And do you have another suggestion to get side boxes to work on 3.8.6?
