I'm and Idiot! Need help
 

Hi all,

I have added a new tab to my Nav bar called "User CP". I cannot find where I did it and I want to remove it as it doesn't work properly with VBadvanced.

Can you help? What info do you need from me to get you started? I'm sure it's simple but I am new to all this and have been looking for a couple of days now and simply cannot find how this tab is being generated. I know I did it, just cant figure out how to get rid of it.

Many Thanks in advance for any help, I can't go live and port my other forum intot his one until I get this fixed. It wasn't the New Tab addon I am running, I did it before I found that and I did it with a manual edit!

Just search in your templates for the following code:
Find & Remove it, that should be all.

If your search came back with no results, try changing class="navtab" to id="navtab" in the above code.

Yup I got that from looking at the source via IE but do you have any idea where I can find that line. I can't find where that entry is added?

I can't find it under that template. I have search both, calls and ID as instructed above, anymore clues?

What mod did you use to add the other navbar buttons?

Hi,

I have checked and re checked the header template and it's not in there, wish it was! The Mod I used for the other NAV buttons was vBH - Add new tabs 1.2. (its in my sig ;)) I created this NavTab first and then found that tab mod so I just went on and used that.

What I have decided to do is stand up a new forum and leave the site with the problem as a test site, that way I can mess about and learn to my hearts content without screwing up my production forum. With that in mind I still want to get this sorted as it gives a solid chance at education so you guys help is still much appreciated.
