I don't know if this is a feature of vB that I can't find, but I'm looking to do something like this:

When a user is replying to a thread and other new replies come in, the forums will let the user know of the new replies before allowing them to post theirs. I think phpbb does this by default, and I'm trying to figure out if vB can do this.

Can someone help me out with this?

No. There's a mod for vb3 that did this, but it hasn't been updated for vb4.

I tried searching when I responded before and I couldn't find it. But I had it installed and working so I know it exists. As with so many mods, once they fall out of my "installed mods" list, they become impossible to find.

Could you try one more time ?

Not sure i even trust a site that wont even upgrade to its newest version.

I remember it had a silly message - "Danger Will Robinson!". Hard to believe nobody ever used those words in the thread, but I can't find it. And it doesn't help that the mods are all separated by 3.x versions. And for all I know it could be in the graveyard by now.

any body have any luck tracking this down?
