Admin CP - frequent use items
 

I find it a constant annoyance that the Admin CP does not permit me to adjust its layout.
(I did install the Easy Access mod but it just offers me a preset list of links which are mostkly not what I usually want to access)

I would like to -

1. Re-order the left menu buttons to put my most frequently used ones at the top in the order I want.

2. Have a box in the top centre area where I can enter links to items within these menu items. Plus a few that are buried further inwards.
For example I most frequently use Users/ New User; Users/ Search for user, Forums/ Forum Manager; and Forums/ Add new Forum etc etc so I'd put those links in this box.

I have searched vborg but it's not helped by the search refusing to accept "cp" as a search term. Other searches on "admin control panel" or "admin panel" get little.
