Hit counter and stats for vB 4.x
 

After upgrading to 4.03, I've lost my hitcounter.

What are some of the best ones that can be used for this version now?

Why not just use Google Analytics?

I really don't want to use Google Analytics. I'd rather just use a simple hit counter like I had.

You can place that code in the footer. Placing it in the header makes it one of the first scripts that the browser will load making the other scripts on the forum seem slower.

Thanks Boofo. Since your hack is an internal vBulletin function, I'll use it. Having to go to Googles page each time would have bothered me.

What will the problem with the leap years do in 2012? Is it anything that will affect the functionality?

The mod does not account for leap years yet. I am working on getting that added. The mod will function fine, just be a day off for leap years until I can get the fix.
