Hello Vbulletin users,

Not always, but sometimes, when a user posts a link (for example: http://trick.ly/) and a user clicks the link, it is not a direct link, you get a 'redirect' link and an error:

Quote:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /forum/redirect-to/?redirect=http%3A%2F%2Ftrick.ly on this server.

Does anyone know how to remedy this issue or disable redirecting that is going on?

I've noticed that it is only taking place on our forums that are hidden to specific usergroups. It is occurring on all links that are outgoing.

Ok guys, I found out what was wrong. I have vBSEO 3.2.0 installed and there is a setting:

"Redirect ALL External URLs Posted in Private Forums"

I've disabled this setting as it is causing errors and the issue is resolved.
