Remove attachments from Article

Basically I attach an image to my article that I want for my preview image on the home page. I actually delete the image from the article so that it doesn't show when reading the article, but I do get something showing the attachment there....

So How do I remove the item circled in red from ever article? I am assuming I need to edit vbcms_content_article_page, but I am not sure what needs to be deleted so that the item circle in red doesn't show...
