Remove "page 1 of 3" text from forumdisplay and showthread

I am trying to make my forum look very subtle. For me vbulletin 3 is filled with lots of useless text.

I would like to remove the "Page 1 of 2573" text from the forumdisplay and showthread

I think the numbers are enough for users.

Here is the forum in question: http://www.turbofsi.net/forum/

In phrase manager edit the phrase "page_x_of_y" to just a single blank space and the text will go away.

I don't want to remove the phrase from other pages, only forumdisplay and showthread

Edit the forumdisplay and showthread templates ;)

They are not in there

That's really really funny cause i just found
HTML Code:

<title>$thread[prefix_plain_html] $thread[title]<if condition="$pagenumber>1"> - <phrase 1="$pagenumber">$vbphrase[page_x]</phrase></if></title>
Change to
HTML Code:

<title>$thread[prefix_plain_html] $thread[title]</title>
For showthread

And forumdisplay find
HTML Code:

<title>$foruminfo[title_clean]<if condition="$pagenumber>1"> - <phrase 1="$pagenumber">$vbphrase[page_x]</phrase></if></title>
Replace with
HTML Code:

<title>$foruminfo[title_clean]</title>

Those are the titles. I want to remove the text that is next to the page numbers?

ChopSuey 06-28-2010 02:52 PM

You serious? I just gave you info on how to remove the Page 1 of 1234 text.....

Sigh.

feverinlove 06-28-2010 04:36 PM

Those are title tags. Try that on your forum and see if text next to the page numbers are gone...

He's right, that isn't it... It appears to come from $pagenav but I don't see any way of separating the "Page x of y" from the variable in only showthread and forumdisplay, maybe search for $pagenav and see what you can find but off hand it looks like it's all or nothing.
