custom forum permissions

I want to change the permissions for a couple of my forums, where guests and unconfirmed members can view the latest threads on the homepage, but when they go to click on them it asks them register, but I can't seem to quite knack the right permissions.

Anyone help? :) much appriciated Cheers

Edit the forum that the homepage feeds from.....set the permissions there.
