Why is it that "newthread_post_complete" doesn't generate if initiated automatically?
Why is it that "newthread_post_complete" doesn't generate if a thread/post is initiated by an automatic mechanism (such as by another mod) ...? But it's always generated if a thread/post is created by a user.
In other words, if I want to use the "newthread_post_complete" as a trigger for an event ... it only triggers if an actual user creates a thread ... NOT when another program (such as "auto-reply" or "welcome thread") creates a thread. Do I need to change the hook from "newthread_post_complete" to something else ...? Thanks!!! |
