Change Datestamp Display Option
Hi,
Currently is use Detailed settings to display the time & date with each post Quote:
So my question is: Is it easy to make the date displayed as follows: In addition to the detailed time display, also give a more specific time when the user hover over the post icon. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2010/06/7.gif 1 minute ago (when hover over the icon: 13 Jun 2010, 06:50 ) This must not be so hard to accomplish. but how? |
I know this is as old as the hills, but this is a great question! I would actually like to take it one step further. Was looking at xenforo and it does a great job of going from "x minutes ago for" anything under an hour to "Today at X:XXpm" for things over an hour and when you hover, the title text shows the full date and time. Anyone?!? Bueller?

What template are you referring to and I will take a quick look -- to save me a bit of time. Sometimes what I think is the write template differs from the conversation and I end up wasting my time. |
There are actually several I would like to apply this to, the three primary being:
forumhome_lastpostby threadbit postbit_legacy The first two include a "last post by" section (in the forum list and thread list) and the postbit has a time stamp at the top of each post in a thread. I would love to change all of these to reflect the date stamp I described above. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
All times are GMT. The time now is 06:57 AM. |
