Register.php Redirect
 

Hello i have a issue..when members trying to register it redirecting them to a tab of new register.php page as soon as they mouse click in the username block to type the username while signing up ..

I tried and replaced the file register.php two times but still it is opening a new tab when i mouse click in the username block on register.php.. what is it? .. this is the weirdest issue i ever came across ..this happenes only in mozilla firefox browser .. not in internet explorer .

In internet explorer & firefox all text behaves like a link with underline when you hover the mouse onto text .. example this text --> "Please enter the name by which you would like to log-in and be known on this site." its below username block .. and each and every single text is with register.php link .. i checked on other forums its not link .. just plain text ..

I was editing forum rules yesterday from pharses.. and had some HTML codes in it.. might that be interfering ..

Can anyone help .. ?

Create a new style with no parent:

• Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
• Parent Style: No Parent Style
• Title: Default vBulletin
• Allow User Selection: Yes
• Save

Set that as your default style (vboptions > styles). Now try to register using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

Yes i still have that same problem .. i tried twice.. i made styles two times ..i could be wrong in first try ..so tried two times before replying here.

EDIT:: Figured out what was wrong .. i had notice with HTML codes wrapped around and had image and link to redirect users to register.php when they click it.. i removed that notice and everything is fine now .
