Creating a custom content-type search facility
Hi,
On my site I have 'abused' some vBulletin forums as 'article' storage. Using a custom php script those forums are displayed in a proper way (i.e. every thread is a separate article, first post is the intro, second post the main article). The forums itself are only accessible for editors. The php script is world-accessible, so every visitor can see the content. I would like normal visitors to be able to search the article content. I know that I will need to add a custom search/contenttype facility, and I am looking for some hints/guides/example to do just that. Thanks, Taco |
