Why vB
I'm going to post this question over at vB also and it's not a trick question.
I've been running with vB since 2004 and still recommend it to everyone but I have an upcoming project to recommend a forum software for a charity organisation. I'll also be recommending a professional implementation and design company so any feedback/suggestions people can provide would be most beneficial. So my question is why vB, what are its pros/cons and comparable competitors and suggestions for companies to use to implement. Many thanks Mark |
Well, what does the charity use for their main site ... will they want some type of user comment integration?
edit to add: if its a charity, and their needs are minimal, go with phpbb and one of the dozens of free / low cost designs out there and let them save the money (and tech resources) for their primary mission. |
As you are asking about the default software, this question should be posted on vBulleitn.com and not on this site.

Why VB? Look at this community. Honestly, this is why I prefer Vbulletin over any other software. This is the BEST free modifications community you can find on the net. Without a doubt, it is why I went ahead and purchased another VB suite.
