The skins you are using are for the version of your vbulletin?

Is your portal 'vbadvanced' by any chance? I had issues with it wanting to change the URL's to many of my images during the install, from relative to absolute URL's, I had to change them manually to get them to work right.

You should ask this in the thread or support site for the portal software you are using.

I had to go to Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> All Style Options and change all the image paths to start with "/forums/images" because I have my forum installed in the "forums" directory under the root- you will need to customize this based on your forum... You will also need to make these changes if you have any image tags in any of your templates that you need/call from vbadvanced for me this meant changing my navbar termplate to replace calls to "images/folder/file" to "/forums/images/folder/file" adding the '/' in front tells the browser to look in the root of the website so you need a more complete path then without the '/' in which it looks under whatever directory the page is called from.
Finally I had to make the same changes to all my smilies... 307 of them at the time... manually. :( and will have to change it each time I add a new one from here on out.

vbadvanced has it's own support forums on their site, you may get better info from there.

You can do this, in fact it should do it by default, but it replaces them with absolute paths to the images (http://www.yoursite.../forums/images/...) which is OK if you only access your forum from one domain- I have multiple domains because they get blocked from time to time so that's why I had to do the manual edits- I assumed he might have a similar situation and that's why the edits it should have made didn't work.
