Template Modification: Order of postbit elements
Can I change the order of elements in postbiit?
I am using legacy (vertical format) I would like the user information to appear in this order... Member ID Custom Title Reputation Avatar Rank 1 Rank 2 Awards Join date Post count Blog entries The order it appears on my board right now is a little mixed up and looks unorganized. I'm very new to forums and databases in general so be gentle with your terms, lol. Thanks for looking! |
Code:
<vb:if condition="$post['userid']"> The rank Reputation Join Date Avatar Age Number of posts Then, there is some status i know. If i am wrong, please, correctly me. All you have to do is cut/paste the information you wanna change the place, and paste in some other place... If you wanna the "join date" stay after the number of posts, just do that: Code:
<vb:if condition="$post['userid']"> |
Ok I'll give it a try. Can someone tell me where to find the source code for the postbit in the style area of the admin cp?
I'm a little nervous to move around some of the code since it looks like some of the attributes belong to parent elements. Is there a way to revert it all if I mess it up? Besides the obvious backing everything up or just copy and pasting the original code. |

Well, this is where you get the postbit legacy style (attached file)
(admincp > styles and templates> find your style postbit_legacy template ) Sorry if i can make you understand, but my admin cp is in Portuguese of Brazil. And, yes you can revert all of thing you make in the template. Just Chose the template you want to revert, and click the button "REVERT"! And don worry. You can make changes and see what happens. If all go wrong, just revert the template. That's what i do. Give a try. If you can't do it, just PM me, then i think i can help you more. []'s |
