Where do I edit the CSS of a template?
 
Stupid question but I used to just go Styles and Templates, Style Manager, and then select Main CSS from the dropdown. However since I upgraded to 4.0 it always says
"This CSS file is obsolete and is available here for reference purposes only."

So my question is, how do I edit basic css settings? What file?

You use the stylevars and the css templates now. Go to vbulletin.com, click the Home tab and then the section for How To: Styling and read up on the changes there.
