vB4 Default statusicons enhanced
 

My members and I found the default vB4 status icons to be lacking in colour variation/definition between old and new content status.

This zip file contains enhanced colour versions of the default vB4 new content statusicons.

Unzip this file and upload the contents of the Upload folder to your forum folder.

Hope I'm not rude, but from the screenshot it looks a bit bad in my own opinion. In the corners of the images, it looks like it has been cut off weirdly.

Not at all... this was a quick 25% change in saturation(+) & lightness(-) to give a more noticeable difference between old and new content.
I do see what your talking about, but do not really notice it when used on the default vB scheme... it may be different if used with a different background colour.
When I get time, I'll clean them up.

spillage: Just a suggestion - maybe add a pic of the icons in use? Windows folder view tends to give the wrong impression :)

I really want some new Icons.

These are the best option so far, but will they overide the default images ?

If you choose Replace or Overwrite when uploading the files, yes.

You will have to refresh your cache when viewing the page, so the new images take effect.

You should consider cleaning them up. They're cut horribly.

there are a total of 118 files in the statusicon folder

I wonder what's the actual number of files that need to be changed if I want new icons for 4.0.6
