Add-On for vbulletin
Hello vbulletin-community,
we are planing to buy an vb-license for one of our customers. Before we buy I have another question regarding vbulletin: We want to create a custom rating extension where our customers can rate different kind of products. The user has to be logged in with his vb-user/password. Short and easy: is it possible to access all the user-information via php when the user is logged in via cookie or session? (f.e. cookie['userid']) Thanks in advance! Best regards, Christoph |
Yes vBulletin is easy accessible within external PHP-scripts. Integration with another PHP script should not be too difficult for a PHP developer.
|
Thanks!
Is there any short example, 'cause I'm the developer who has to do all this external things ;) |
This application uses External Access, take a look at to see the coding: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=232437

I am afraid that codes posted on our site can not be viewed by unlicensed users.
|
OK, thanks for your help!
I trust you guys and I think it will be easily possible. PHP/mysql is not a problem at all, for future questions I will be in good hands. So I can tell my colleague to order vbulletin and to set it up. Christoph |
Hope to see you soon as a licensed member.
|
thanks done
