Missing pictures after a database restore
 

So we decided to basically trash our forums this past April 1 and then restore the database the day after. As a joke, I deleted myself from the board, and as expected, I was back the next day.

I just noticed however, that all of my album images are gone. I knew my avatar and profile pic were gone the day I came back, and I simply reuploaded them, but I don't have half of the images in my album anymore. What's wierder is this: I got the attachment ID of an album picture, and looked in the database for the filename, and got "790.jpg." Looking in the images/albumpics folders, I find 790.image. If I download it, and rename it to 790.jpg, it's the correct image.

If this isn't where the images are actually stored, then where are they supposed to go? And since it seems there's a backup of all the pictures, is there a way to quickly restore them?
