Template Edit?

1 Attachment(s)
Hello...:)

I did ask this question at vb.com and was given partial help, but was also suggested to ask here.

Just wondering please if anyone can help me out in moving some code around in our templates.

As per the attached pic, I'd like to move the links from the top right to where the arrows are pointed, either location, preferably before New Posts.

Can anyone help me out please?

Thank you....:)

You will have to remove the links from the header template and re-add them at the navbar template.

For ex, for the welcome username link, do the following:

Find and remove the following code from the header template:

HTML Code:

<li class="welcomelink">{vb:rawphrase welcome_x_link_y, {vb:raw bbuserinfo.username}, {vb:link member, {vb:raw bbuserinfo}}}</li>
Then go to the navbar template and find the following bit of code:

HTML Code:

<li><a href="search.php?{vb:raw session.sessionurl}do=getnewamp;contenttype=vBForum_Post">{vb:rawphrase new_posts_nav}</a></li>
and above it add the code you removed from the header template. i.e.

HTML Code:

<li class="welcomelink">{vb:rawphrase welcome_x_link_y, {vb:raw bbuserinfo.username}, {vb:link member, {vb:raw bbuserinfo}}}</li>
And so on for the other parts. Personally I can''t go into more details about it as I don''t have much free time but experiment around at your test site. It is not difficult.

Hopefully someone with more free time than me will help you further.

Thank you borbole, I did give that a go but totally struggled with moving the right code for the login & registration bits, but will keep trying.
