Getting a Points Plugin to Honor Moderation
 
We have installed a plug in that awards points for activities. It's really great EXCEPT - it does not respect Moderation. Points are awarded even though posts & replies are all going into moderation. I've already asked the author but thought I'd consult with all you sage folks: what might be the best approach for correcting this. Just a sort of theoretical "Look here, play with these..." type of guide post. We have Php & MySQL experience, but just don't know where to start tapping.
