Custom Posting Templates.
 

I'm looking to find a way to add a custom post template for a single forum.

We'd like to use the forum as a way to manage a type of document with a form of sorts.
When creating a new thread instead of seeing a single post body box in which to type the posts content I'm looking for a way to add a series of text fields which correspond to the documents different sections. And then have the post editable with the text in it's own field.

I've searched for a mod to accomplish this and the closest I was able to find was [AJAX] vB Post Templates 1.5.0 Which is sort of what I'm looking for.

Is this done somewhere already or will I have to custom write a solution?
