Impex Usage
 
How would one go about transferring all threads from a 3.7.3 vB forum to a 3.8.4 version of vB..

Just the threads as well.. Not the users etc..
I've never used Impex before, so not too sure how it works and not too sure if this is possible.

moving threads without the users will break the forum... you can't do that.

Well I have 3 forums at the moment, 1 is mine and the other 2 are my mates..
one of his is 3.7.3 which is the one I want the threads from... the other is a 3.8.4 which is also his.. and the last one is mine which is a 3.8.4

I'm wanting the threads/users from the 3.7.3 onto my (last one) 3.8.4 version..
But I'm also wanting the threads/users of the second 3.7.3 version onto my (last one) 3.8.4 version.

If you understand, is this possible?

you want to merge other existing boards then... not only the threads to be detached.. this is different.

merging multiple boards on a single one is possible, each duplicate usernames would receive a "imported_" prefix at the end, so you can edit, delete, merge each of these...

it's usually easy for a good admin here... *(as my my)
