User CP | Installed Modifications bug

Every time, reliably, that I click on User CP | Installed Modifications to check for updates, I first get an error message saying there are no results for the search.

I then click on the same link and get the list of the modifications I've marked as installed.

Interesting. That doesn't happen for me. I wonder what it is about your list that would cause that problem.

No idea. I operate two forums myself, one still 3.84 and the other upgraded to 4.02, and I am co-admin on a few others (some 4.x and some 3.x), so with the different versions and different tastes the list is fairly long I suppose (191 items including mods, template edits, and styles - of course not all installed at once).

I realize that my previous post should say "the first time after a pause of a couple of hours or more", rather than every time. If I leave and go do something else for 2-3 hours and come back, it will happen the first time. Then it may be OK if I repeat the process a few times.

^^^ No, that's not true. It just happened again so it doesn't depend on a long interval.

I have long lists also. Maybe Paul will be able to figure out why it does that for you.

Ive been trying to get to the bottom of this for many months, it happens because sometimes when the search is created, the wrong searchid is returned (its always 1 off) so no results are shown. I dont know why its sometimes 1 out.

Maybe it's due to running on 3.6.12?? ROFL, just joking :)

Well, it's not like it renders the forums unusuable or anything. Just one of those weird glitches...
