View First Unread - Not Linked Properly
 

Can somebody have a look? The View First Unread button is not linked properly and goes back to the main page. I don't know why, maybe a plugin? It's something I have never touched before.

We can't see the link. We are just unregistered users and don't get one.

What is in the page source for the link (the exact line in there, not the whole page)?

Try this:
Create a new style with no parent:

• Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
• Parent Style: No Parent Style
• Title: Default vBulletin
• Allow User Selection: Yes
• Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

If it is still happening - Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

Thanks Lynn I will try to disable plugins later. I tried the new Theme and it is still happening. Sometimes, not all time.

It looks like you have vBSEO installed. Do you?

Yes

I have had the same problem when vBSEO is installed and you have a member in tacky goes to coventry. The bad links were in the threads with that member who was in tacky.

Thanks. I tried googling etc but still don't understand what tackey / conventry means. Can you help?

It's now called Global Ignore - vboptions > user banning options > Global Ignore
