New member looking for modules
 

Hello...

Bought the vb4 license a few months back, and trying to setup my new forum. I have a few questions if anyone can help me

1) Is there a popular ad management module the community uses which can

- show ads on left or right
- put ads between posts

2) Is there any SEO module other than vBSEO ? I know that VB does SEO links, but i want the category/subcategory name in the url as well. Is there any module which can do that

3) Is there a module for Re-tweeting the post and Facebook-Liking the post?

Finally...i really want to know which anti-spam module works best...spammers have wrecked havoc on my forum with about 1000 registrations and 5000 posts daily. I can simply blow it all up as i haven't really started getting real users on it, but it would be good to know how i can delete multiple users and their posts in one go.

You will be shocked how the Search does Find what you Search for

As for anti-spam in your adminCP

Settings >> Human Verification Options

And there mods not modules :)

haha..alright "mods" , not modules :-) my bad..

yes i tried searching...i did find a few mods...but i expected to find the ad management and seo mod atleast in a top ten mods download list...

i did search and clicked on views to see which are the popular mods etc...but i am still not happy with the results.

Well on wordpress you would find them in the top 10 sadly all the mods like that cost more ?$

I dont use a Ad management i find the default works for me (Tho i did add a few in the templates)

Yes in wordpress you know the popular mods quite easily. I am prepared to pay for the mods but am not yet sure about the vbseo...it seems too costly. I might consider it after a few months.

So I got the facebook like and re-tweeting mod.

The sidebar mod - i found one mod which displays the sidebar on all pages and i found how to remove the sidebar minimize button, so i can show the advertisements.

The SEO ...i have to figure out if the mod you redirected me to..will display hierarchical urls like wordpress or vbseo ...
