Recent Articles by Category Widget? / Changing the Section Page Display of New Artcls
 

Does anyone know if a Recent Article by Category Widget exists? For instance, I want to feature the most recent article in a category (not a section) on the home page. However, the recent activity widget available in vB only counts sections and subsections. Not categories.

Thank you in advance. I did a search but didn't find anything for mods.

I have another question about changing the display of articles from Preview to just listing them, almost like a grid.

For instance, I have a deck database on my old site which I will be transferring to vB. Each deck will be its own article and then I want to do to the deck database page and see the decks similar to this:

Instead of like this:

http://www.magicdeckvortex.com/forum...-Deck-Database

Any input is greatly appreciated.
