Change forum background

Hi all,

I'm trying to work out which stylevar changes the background for the forum. I'd have thought it would be doc_background, but that has no effect that I can see.

OK, it is doc_background. But no matter what I try, I can't get it to load my background image. I've tried using ../ to go back several directories, but nothing works.

Not only that, but when I try to use a background image, the background colour stops working. I don't get it.

Are you using this format in the background image section:
Code:

url(the/path/to/your/image.png)
Of course you can use gif for gif, jpeg for jpeg.

Yes I've tried that as well. Nothing works using stylevar for this.

I've fixed it by editing the vbulletin.css directly, which I didn't realise you could do before. I can't help feeling the doc_background stylevar is bugged somehow.

I have not had a issue with it myself and I have been through a number of Styles. Maybe a link to your site might figure out more and what exactly your trying to do. Pm me if you dont want it displayed here.

I put graphics and logo images in my junk album for testing. Try that and get the non tagged url and put in the path. Should look some thing like the image. I included both ends of the url.
