RSS Question

I'm trying to figure out the RSS system on VB4. Is there a way to set up RSS feeds for specific forums? I want certain forums to load threads via RSS to a Facebook Page (already figured out how to do this on the facebook end).

Thanks in advance for any tips!

If they're all going to the same FB page it would be as easy as just including those forums in the RSS. I am unaware of any way to send different forums to different FB pages.

Let me try asking this a different way... How do I find the rss feed for a single forum? Not the entire Vbulletin4 forum installation, but just a single forum within that. I have forums in which only staff members can start a thread (for posting news), and I want an RSS that just lists those threads (and not the posts inside). If I know how to do that, I can do the rest of what I want. Does that make it any clearer?

This is the line I use with Twitterfeed (it only sends the listed forums):
http://www.my.org/forum/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=30,24,15,16,35,22, 8,10,11,42,36,14

Thank you! I'll try it out :D

This doesn't work... check it: http://www.jonasclark.com/kingdomcom...s2&forumids=11

Somehow, it's not reading threads in there.

Please help.

Remember RSS only reads with Guest perms. Are your included forums Guest readable?

Your link appears to work now.

Actually, it's hard to tell since he's only sending one forum and it hasn't had any action for several days. It is accessible to guests, but RSS only publishes new stuff, not the old stuff.

Where do I change the guest permissions?

I checked the guest permissions for unregistered users and they are all set to yes to view/read forums but not to post...

The RSS feed still doesn't show the threads...

Just posted something new... and still nothing shows up in there.

Please help!
