If you don't like the current VBulletin Quote BBCode here are some other layouts. Simply replace the contents of bbcode_quote with one of these codes. The PM codes will only show the Quote layout in PMs only.

Screenshot added. The one with lines is email view and the one in the box is sleek view. I made multiple quotes using one with just a quote, one with just quote and username, and one with just quote, username, and post id.

One small correction, hope you won''t mind it.

In vb 4 the template conditionals have changed.

So instead of for ex

You should use:

HTML Code:
<vb:if condition="$show['username']">
Or, <else /> should be: <vb:else /> and the closing </if> instead should be: </vb:if>

for his 'sleek look' I took the template code and added in the content producing bit from the original template. In other words.. it's really just stripped the design part of the template. I like it..
