Please read this - Requesting modification upgrades to vBulletin 4.0

No one may upgrade that particular modification and release it. Code a totally new one? Sure. But, they may not take that one and upgrade the code and then release it.

good way of protecting the coders work, just curios as to how things apply since the man is deceased.
