'Users online' - don't display users that are still in moderation queu

Hello there :)

I am Not sure if there is already an option available for this.
Google is normally my friend, but this time it failed me, hehe ;)

My question:
Is there a possibility on vBulletin that makes sure that newly registered users who are still awaiting moderation, won't be displayed on the 'online users' display of the forum homepage?

And the same counts for the display that shows our 'newly registered members'.
Is it possible that members which have not yet been accepted to the forum don't show on the forum homepage?

Often you see those darn spam accounts mingled with the real users in the 'users online' display, and it would be great if these fake members weren't showing in these lists at all. I tend to delete them daily.

Some names they use are abusive, even though I thought I filtered most abusive words from the registration page, so they won't be able to use it. But often they can just get around that by spelling things differently. It's just annoying. If possible I would like to hide them from the forum display without having to disable 'users online' and the 'welcome to our newly registered user'.

I hope someone can help me with this. Perhaps there is a simple option in the admin that I am not seeing. :)

Kind Regards,

Miriam

In version 4.0.3, users in usergroup 3 or 4 (users awaiting email confirmation and users awaiting moderation) do not show up in the Currently Active Users list nor in the Total Members count.

I am using 4.8.4 at the moment, and it's all still showing.

Well, there is no option to turn it on/off. You would have to modify the query in index.php to not include users in that usergroup. I thought there was an article on how to do this for banned users. You can read it and just substitute the usergroupid for the usergroup you don't want to show.
