staff edit BBCODE help
I'm trying to make a BBCODE for my staff so that it displays who edited the thread and why.
I want it to look something like this: //edited by nick682: wrong section, no swearing,... Where the username is I want that to be dynamic. So which ever mod edits the post it will display his/her username. So I would want the BBCODE to display: //edited by nick682: and in between the "[mod][mod]" you would type the reason post was edited. --------------- Added [DATE]1272475236[/DATE] at [TIME]1272475236[/TIME] --------------- I could make a custom BBCODE for each staff member that has their username in there, but I'd really like to make it dynamic so I only have 1 BBCODE for it. Is this even possible? |
I am also looking for a similar mod.

When a user edits a post, something very much like what you posted is added to the bottom of the thread. Why not use the default function to do what you want instead of writing some bbcode?
