Upgrading from forum to pub suite
 

I am managing a site that originally purchased the forum then upgraded to pub suite (versions are the same).
The forum is running and pretty well customized.
How does the transition work? Do I have to upload the whole package and reinstall it? Is there a simpler way so that I don't lose the customizations?
If so, what files will I be uploading/modifying?

Make sure to backup your style within the admincp so that you can refer to it later, your current style will be rendered useless with the upgrade. I dont think you should be upgrading if you wish to keep all of your modifications and skin the same, perhaps wait until you are prepared to recustomise everything, im sure most edits would port over quite nicely with tweaks here and there :)

It would be normal to just upload new files, then run upgrade script.

But I'm not sure if this is the right way, so you should ask at vB.com.
