What is chit chat

VBChit Chat is a simple php mysql flash chat system,
where you will be able to let your members chat in a small chat system.

This flash chat system will auto update the info in the chat every 5 seconds.
Time to take to install will be about 1 minute as its a small add-on.
No template edits just a few files to upload and install the product xml file.

Add a link to your navbar to point to the chat php page.
This system will also use the usergroup Permissions.

Ban/Unban Members: ----- Have added a ban and unban members from within the chat system.
Just click on the users name in the online users list and a popup will show to ban that member from the chat system.
If the member is online in the chat system they will be able to chat still till the next time they load the chat system.
Once they come back to the chat system and load it up it will show them an error page and they will not be able to chat.

Please download the new version VBCHITCHAT_VB4_v103.zip

To upgrade from version 1.0.1 just upload the files and import the product.xml file with overright set to yes.

If your chit chat system does not load its down to the welcome message please remove the HTML Code:
<br>
from the welcome message in the admincp chit chat settings.

This problem has been fixed in this version.

Just to let you all know i will be making this abit more customizable in time.
This is the first release of this script and will need changing and updating.

I will also be adding in a ban member function so that you can ban members in the chat system as well as a bad word replace as well.

This will take alittle time to get sorted out.

So can i install this for only one usergroup to use?

Yes you can have this limited to one usergroup if you wanted.
Just change the usergroup settings to no for usergroups that you dont want to use it and yes for the usergroups you will let use the system.

I will make a quick how to for this later and then add it into the product.xml file when i upgrade it to have the bad word filter.

but I couldnt find a link any where

so i just added one to my forums, is that right ?

would like a popup system so you can chat and do other stuff though
