Why are my forums soooo slow!?

Why is my forums so slow? The rest of the site is not. Especially my CMS page!

So slow in fact I am getting a virtual server.

seems ok to me.
the CMS has many images to load thats slowing it down.
wouldnt think you would need a VPS for that forum.
