Navbar Question

When viewing the main page at http://www.dfwsportbikes.org/index.php, it shows all of the submenu items such as:
* New Posts
* Private Messages
* FAQ
* Calendar
* Arcade
* Community
* Forum Actions
* Quick Links
* Donate

But when I click onto a new page on the top tabs, it doesnt show those same items. How can I get these items to show? Thanks in advance.

There are a couple of articles about how to make submenus with your navtabs and there are mods to do this also. Did you try a search?

jgruberman 04-22-2010 12:45 PM

Yes, I tried searching but I wasn't able to find it.

I don't really want to make SUBtabs... as I just want to replicate the existing menu to the other pages. If you look at the site, you'll understand what I mean.

I very well may not be asking the correct thing to begin with, so please feel free to correct/educate me as needed :)

The way to 'replicate' it is to make a submenu with all the same links.

Is making a submenu a simple vb function or is that achievable by a mod? I'm fairy new to vb4

This seems to be a difficult question to a get a straight answer from (either here or on vB.com).

I want to do a similar thing. In my case, I want to eliminate all the submenu items
"New Posts ... Private Messages ... FAQ ... Calendar ... Community ... Forum Actions ... Quick Links".

Everyone tells me, in a very general fashion, to just "edit the navbar template". You ever take a look in there? My gosh, I can't make heads-or-tails of it in finding what code to remove to acheive my desired result.

Hopefully, someone here can help with a more specific answer.

I found this by trying to do the exact opposite. I want to remove the navbar tabs (to replace with drop-down menus from a modification) without removing the sub-menus when on those specific pages. I have a suspicion that we are looking at editing the same code in different ways... I hope someone can drop by here and explain it.

Edit: Not sure if this will help you, but perhaps what I have discovered when trying to achieve my goal will help you: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=244658
