Tips and Pitfalls

Hi,

I'm planning on starting my first forum, I've bought a license for vbulletin 4.0*, I'm doing a lot of reading and I've got a simple question...... When you were starting out, what went wrong for you and how did you fix it ???

Any other tips anyone's got will be gratefully appreciated.
