Project Tools

with release of vBulletin Publishing Suite v4 it was published that Project Tools would be an opensource project .. what is status and when can we expect to be able to obtain Project Tools???? Please advise.

regards,
William

This is the wrong place to ask for status. Go do a search over on vb.com - there are several threads over there about this.

vb.com has nothing to do with vbulletin

so you must be referring to vbulletin .com????

v3.85 user, buying into prerelease for v4.0 publishing suite. we are flip-flopping back and forth where to discuss project tools open source project? I will take bait.

peace

When most people say 'vb.com' they mean 'vbulletin.com', same with vb.org.

well... that is really lame. LOL especially since there actually is a vb.com

I would expect more from customer support, volunteer or not. 'go look for threads at a differerent site....' is pretty lame too...

I would AT LEAST expect a link seeing as how support would probably be concerned with PROVIDING SUPPORT

It is my understanding that things are devided around here. All the questions related with vbulletin should be asked at vbulletin.com and all the questions related to mods, styles and custom coding, should be asked here instead. So there was nothing lame at the response you got above.

where are you coming from?

open source Project Tools was turned over to vbulletin.org when v4.0 was released.. I bought into Publishing Suite at prerelase, was beta tester.. I agree that Project Tools prior to VB v4.o is to be directed at vbulletin.com. ALas, this is not the case here, is it? I specifically inquired as to status of 'open source Project Tools' and was directed elsewhere.. As such, LAME...

False. It has never been turned over to vb.org. It is still in the hands of vb.com and, since it is, only they would know when it is going to get released over here.

your statement at vbulletin.com ... somebody needs to get a handle on this and eliminate all of the confusion. you playing both sides of the fence too... LOL

I simply restated your remarks and you try to send me to vbulletin.com for inquiries. open source project tools is to be provided at this site when made available, and I correct, or am I missing something. lot of running around in circles over project tools.

I don't understand the confusion. My statement is true. It will be released here when the devs decide to do so. But, it is still in the hands of vb.com - it has never been in the hands of vb.org. Any news about it will be posted over there, not over here. (Adrian has been talking about it over there recently.)
