Showing code on post edit versus formatted text
 

Hi community!

In vb4, when I go to edit post, it shows the bb code as is, and not the formatted text.

Any way to change that? I mean, when you edit a post it already shows as formatted (bold shows bold)?

Change your Settings to use the WYSIWYG Editor instead of just the standard editor.

Thanks Lynne but I can't find where I change this...

Settings (formerly User CP) > General Settings to change it for yourself
vboptions > user registration options > default registration options to change it for new users
And, to change for all existing users, maintenance > execute SQL Query > pick from the dropdown
