How to get "Total Posts" to show

1 Attachment(s)
Alright, so I'm using a custom style and I want to include the total number of posts that are in the forum I am in. I.E. if I chose to go to Forum 1... I want to see the total number of posts in Forum 1.

Attached is the problem I'm having. The total number of threads show... but posts do not.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Here is the code for the side column box:

PHP Code:

<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%" align="center">
 <
tr>
  <
td><img src="$stylevar[imgdir_misc]/sideleft.gif" border="0" alt="" /></td>
  <
td class="sidebg" valign="middle" align="center" width="100%">
Forum Information

</td>
  <
td><img src="$stylevar[imgdir_misc]/sideright.gif" border="0" alt="" /></td>
 </
tr>
</
table>
<
table class="tborder" border="0" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]width="100%" align="center">
<
tr>
<
td class="alt1 smallfont">
    <
b>Forum Members:</b$numbermembers<br />
    <
b>Total Threads:</b$totalthreads<br />
    <
b>Posts:</b$totalposts<br />

<
br />

<
div><phrase 1="member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$newuserid2="$newusername">$vbphrase[welcome_to_our_newest_member_x]</phrase></div>
$template_hook[forumhome_wgo_stats]
        </
div>

<
p>There are currently <a href="online.php$session[sessionurl_q]"><span class="staff"><b>$totalonline</b></span></ausers online.</p>

</
td>
</
tr>
</
table

You can show the total posts with below variable...
Code:

$post[posts]

Thanks for the quick reply.

That didn't work either. For some reason it's not recognizing the code $totalposts or $numbermembers in forumdisplay.

It works fine (on the side column) on my forums.php page.

None of those are going to work unless you run the code to define them. You can find that code on the bottom of the index.php file.

I'm not a coding guru. I need help with this.

Can you please provide the code? I've looked at the spot you told me but I don't know what to take.
