International and multilanguage forum

HI, I have a question,
Actually my forum is only in one language, but i would like to make it multi language, i mean open the english section, the french section and so on.
How i can do that?
may i create subfolders and new installation of vb for example:
root/English
root/italian
root/french
or you suggest different method?
